‘Even now, as a 32-year-old husband and father of four, Putnam still looks young -- something observers say belies his abilities. "He has always been remarkably poised," said U.S. Rep. Tom Feeney. "When he got to Tallahassee, he looked like he was 15. But he acted like he was 45."
Even his ideological opponents, such as Democratic pundit Dick Batchelor, say they've been impressed by Putnam's grasp of the issues and eloquence in waxing about them.
